Following our upgrade to a new version of our library management system (Koha) last Thursday, some of the systems’ notices are not working very well. We hope to have fixed this issue, but in the meantime you have one of the following two options. We are sorry for any inconvenience this is causing you.
There are two things you can do
1. Change your message preferences:
- Log into your library account, by going to https://hey.koha.openfifth.net/cgi-bin/koha/opac-user.pl
- Once you are logged, find “Messaging”, on the right-hand side of the screen (see black arrow in the image below):
- Click on “Messaging”

- You could now either untick that you get them, or change how many days in advance of the due date you would like to be notified:

2. Check your account
After you have logged into your account via https://hey.koha.openfifth.net/cgi-bin/koha/opac-user.pl you can see when a book is due, and how many automatic renewals it has had:

As you can see the “Renew” column states “No renewal before 16/01/2026 (5 of 5 renewals remaining)”, and “This item is scheduled for auto renewals.
