3. Click on “Place reservation”.
If you are at the detailed view of a catalogue record, the “Place reservation” is on the right-hand side of the screen:
If you are not logged in with your card number and password, please do so now (the system will prompt you).
4. If you would like to request this item as soon as possible, please click on “Confirm reservation”.
Alternatively, you can click on “Show more options”, and tell the system that
- “Reservation not needed after:” [please add date],
- “Reservation note” [please add here whatever you would like to tell us in relation to the reservation]
- You can also change from “Next available item” to “Specific item” (if there are multiple items for one publication] (this might be necessary if you would like to request a specific volume of a publication with multiple volumes).
Your reservation should now be confirmed.
Please note:
Books in the reading room cannot be requested.

How to recall books already on loan to other Library users
Check that there are no other copies of the book available in the Reading Room, or in the offsite stores.
You can tell that the book is checked out to someone else if the status says “issued”, and there is a date displayed under ‘Date due’:

Once you are sure that the only copy available is on loan, you should place a recall from the list of options on the right-hand side:

If you are not already logged in to your account, you must do this now.
Choose the option to recall a specific item, NOT next available, and click ‘confirm’:

Your recall should now be confirmed. The library user who has the book will receive a recall notice, and they will have to bring back the book within 7 days.
How to reset your password
You will need a password on Koha to log into your account. You might want to log in to
